GRADE 4

What a great start to Term 2! First three weeks have flown pretty quickly and Grade 4 students have been really busy doing different activities.

In Mathematics, they have been learning multiplication and division strategies. It is highly recommended that they practise their times tables regularly at home to increase their speed and accuracy level.

In English, they have been learning about the structure and language features of a biography. We are also focusing on comprehension skills, editing and grammar use while reading and writing different texts.

In Integrated Studies, students are covering Geography and are learning how the location on the globe can impact the climate of different places. They also participated in an ‘orienteering’ incursion to learn the use of a compass and develop the sense of direction. It was great fun and students enjoyed it!

Please encourage them to complete their weekly online homework assigned on Reading Eggs and Mathletics as it gives them opportunities to revise the concepts learnt at school.
